We have 30 years of experience with horses including hauling, training, breeding, professional lessons, boarding, and quality sales. I previously worked for the world’s largest thoroughbred farm in Kentucky from 1980-1989, so I have many years of experience handling and caring for thoroughbreds. As a former riding stable owner I have also handled and trained a wide variety of horse including large draft animals.We currently and proudly own Quarter Horses and Paints, but have a passion for all breeds of horses. We are not only excellent transporters, but most importantly we are true horsemen. We are skilled in recognizing colic, dehydration, stress, infection, etc. Your horse will be in the "BEST" caring & capable hands with Greater "D" Transport. We are not bulk haulers so your horse will receive individual attention & care, and won’t be hauled many miles out of the way. We stop every 2-3 hours to rest and ensure your horse is comfortable and enjoying the ride! Fresh feed and clean water is always available and easily accesible to your horses.
We have a 6 horse Trails West slant trailer with padded stalls that can be converted to a box stall if you desire them. We provide clean shavings and the floor is padded with shock absorbing mats. Your horse will be secure and more importantly, comfortable!! We accompany our 6 horse trailer with a well maintained Freightliner truck, which is made for coast to coast heavy duty hauling, unlike regular pickup trucks. We have a sleeper and living quarters, so we are always with your horse monitoring closely and providing the best of care. For your convienence and comfort we can be reached 24/7 by cell phone. We are always easily accessible during your horses transport. You and your horses will be treated with courtesy and respect by true horsemen! Your concerns and your horses safety & comfort are our top priority!
